Got a huge kitchen floor, hall and splash back job on in a few weeks, everything is fine apart from in the middle of the hall is their drain access, plastic lid type, now they've asked if there is anyway I could manage to let them have access to this after I have tiled it (their kids are dropping toys down the loos etc and they usually need access twice a year!). Any ideas would be a huge help. The floor is concrete and thought about tiling on ply over it and Silicon round it so they just ahve to break the Silicon seal, but this would lift the floor and pretty sure this wouldn't work???? My other idea is just to tile it and if they need access they just have to rip the tiles up, so best buy a few spare or get rid of the kids!!!
