white rapid flex used. could do with a job like that everyday. hes got me one more next week so hopefully it will be as straight forward as that one

nice one:thumbsup:

yes now and again you do get some real easy no brainer jobs. This morning i tiled 12 m2 on dead straight walls with bucket adhesive and grouted the same area which i tiled yesterdayi was away for midday . Todays tiling will be grouted on Monday when i return to the job to do some floors.

Oh man, this post makes me feel even slower than I know I am!

I'm not trying to be the fastest tiler yet, but thought that my speed was improving to a reasonable level. Having read the comments above I've reached another low.

I can lose a morning grouting, has anyone got any tips how I can speed things up? I usually get the grout on pretty quick and wash down in stages asI go but then find by the time I've cleaned up, then removed the grout haze, I've lost half a day.

All tips appreciated.
Cheers

Dont worry about it, it will come and for the record . I was on site at 7.30am,I dont stop for breakfast dinner and i dont smoke. The walls had already been set out yesterday. A level line had been put on the wall, tiles were stacked and the tile to vinyl trim had been cut to length. Dead straight and the grouting was one continous wall 1.8m high. Couldnt get simpler

Oh did i mention i have arms like windmills

Take no notice of speed, it will come, i have had 28 tilers work for me at the same time and never moaned at anyone of them for being slow. Rather slow and do it right than fast and redo it next day.
