Hi,All

I'm a visitor here from the Plumbers Forum and I need some advice. I was tiling a bathroom and was called away on an emergency burst pipe call which meant that I had to drop everything and go straight away.

The problem is that when I got back 2 hours later, the grout had dried in to the tiles and no amount of scrubbing would make it budge. I even used a scourer with some heavy duty cleaner from the big shed. These tiles have a embossed pattern which covers 100% of the tile and the grout has worked its way into the patterns.

Is there any way to clean this grout from these tiles without damaging them and is there a mechanical disc available for my grinder or drill which could help make it easier?

Standard smoother tiles I've cleaned and sealed many times, but these tiles are a nightmare!
