Dried my tears from not winning the TTA award.. Losing out to N&C plastic matting..!

Now back from the exhibition circuit and have between now and September to get cracking on those leads...

Lot of tiling companies / kitchen companies at all shows and in the end they were sending over their customers for advice on stone.

Lost count of the number of times I recommended this forum to look for advice.

SUGGESTION: DAN - You need to produce some b-cards for the forum and send them out to regular forum members...!

If I had in my possession a card for this place I would hand them out. I got many many questions from people asking about things.

I call people either "end clients" or "installers" and at these shows its the end-clients looking for tilers, advice, best practice, layouts, etc etc.

In the end I was hand writing the URL for them on scraps of paper...

Agree Richard, when you are trying to 'sell' the customer, I always say check out the forum so that you know the information I am giving them is correct.

On a more serious note yes anything you have is great. We dont get back into hard core exhibition work until September.

Then its things like "Installer Live (Corgi)" and "Interbuild" and "ToolFair" and "Phex" so even then its a little bit plumbing biased rather than tiling. (Hey they dropped tile and stone) so not much for tiling.

But its good to have a pack of b-cards to hand for every day meetings. Later this years we are on stand by for some public show (EG: Grand Designs Birmingham October 9 10 11)
