Personal choice yes, i would pay the extra and get a Rubi or even a husqavarna.

i use genesis but havent used any other make but i find it does a good job. i find it is usually the quality of tiles u cut that makes the difference. i.e if good quality tiles then good cut, if not so good quality tiles then cuts tend to be not so good, chipping etc....

I bought one for cutting the smaller diagnals It's the 430 in length, A good solid cutter used for porcelain had no problem's

a mate of mine has just complrted a course at NETT and he bought is genesis cutter there. he comes along with me for a confidence boost and brings his cutter.
i have used it a few times, it is ok nothing to write home about, for an xtra 40 squid u could by an husky for 60 a rubi 60+

I use a Genesis cutter and have no problems with it,although it cuts better with arubi wheel in than the one supplied with it.

Never tried the genesis so can't comment! I do however love my Montolit Evo and the Rubi TX series although I have never rated the TS Series but like has already been said it is down to personal preference

Genisis are great for ceramics,not good for porcelain,spend a bit more on a rubi mate

have only ever used rubi and montilit. as you use more variety of tile materials youll find benifits of each.

Hi I have a Genesis 600 pro I think the model is. To be fair it has done me pretty good until now. They are not the best quality or the strongest cutter by far. The rails have a fair amount of flex when cutting porcelain. I do agree about fitting them out with a rubi wheel, definitely makes a difference. Budget cutter that performs pretty good. I'm getting a Sigma to replace mine soon.
