I can't stress enough that you need to give THIS a go mate. Pick duel fuel, and then pick paperless billing and direct debit when the options arrive. And use your last bill to enter your usage and it should be pretty accurate for you.

Sister-in-law used to work for nPower and she told me about how they work area-wise. nPower are our local suppliers and have the staffordshire patch. nPower have to fix their prices and use the recommendations from the government for all their designated areas. However an area nPower is NOT the designated supplier they can compete with prices.

Southern Electric and Scottish Electric (same company) have their patches in the north and south (clearly) so in the midlands we get good rates from them.Their customer service is shocking though, IMO.

So have a good search about and see what you come up with mate. Let us know. :)
