it was interesting to watch sky and then the beeb - gary et al made the comment that becks although great, was never sticking to his position and kept wandering into defence. i guess that's down to john terry to take control and tell him to move back up field. they'll qualify but won't win, it's the typical english mentality - the managers says take it easy keep 0-0 until half time and then we'll reassess the plan. rather than saying make it 3-0 by half time!! rugby - now there's a better game and at least we're still world champs for another 5months!!
