epoxy grout vs metallic mosaic

Have a shower area to grout this week and was going to use epoxy but customer produced these metallic mosaic tiles ?(forgot to get the name) and seem to remember something about epoxy marking metal trims! right or wrong lads!

Anyway went to buy a one kg tub (bal) down at ctd so I could 'try it on a piece' only to find the smallest tub these days is 5kg. Best part of 50 quid is a bit much if it's no good!

I've not had a problem with it marking trim, having said that, the trim is a lot smaller area than a mosaic, can't really see any problems though with the grout, now the pads and float might be a different matter ?

No where near TG this week but will take it on board next time!

what 5.00, us slow tilers are still grafting then.
Plus I think they only get a mapei delivery every wed/thurs, for non stock items!
