Hi all.

I have read that we need s2 adhesive for to go onto the ally eps boards and under the matting. However we have already bought a shed load of the s1 adhesive. What can we do, if anything, to make the s1 ok to use?
Due to our location it would be time consuming and expensive to get it sent back.

Alternatively could I get some s2 for under the matting then use the s1 on top to fix the tiles?

The ufh is working great, it is at 2 bar. However I have read (on here, last night...DOH) that we should have it at 6 bar for the tiling. Again due to the location it would be difficult to get a plumber to come and do anything.
The pipe is pex al pex and will be run at a low temp using air source pump. Is it necessary to get it to 6 bar? Is there anything else that I can do to help the adhesive? (such as add latex additives etc)

Oh, the floors are concrete, they have been down for over 55 years. We have levelled them correctly (ground down, cleaned, primered etc). And we will be using matting to go over the ufh before tiling. The external doors are fitted so we have height restrictions so I would realllllllllly like to not have to put down cement boards.

Any advice, and I mean any, will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
