Just finished a small splash-back on D&D plasterboard over brickwork at a local stables. Board was flexing pretty bad over approx linear 1 mtr so instead of ripping it off, mate who's a plasterer advised me to use expanding foam. Did it yesterday to secure. Came back today and it was rock solid. Anyone used this method before?

Everbuild products have designed a new product for use instead of dot and dab on decent walls. Saw a guy using it on a site looks the business you can then start tiling on it 1hr later.

Expanding foam is hand to have in the back of the van has got me out of lot of trouble over the years.
