Hi,
Im in the middle of doing my first tilling job and have come to a problem! Im tilling a new kitchen floor with porcelain tiles (445x445mm) Our Aga cooker was put on a concrete plinth as is the norm but unfortunately was made too big and had to be cut down afterwards. this left an edge with saw marks and steel showing and just looked nasty. i have decided to cut the plinth back another 15mm to allow space to put a tile up vertically and come flush with the bottom of the Aga. The problem i need to overcome is how to tile the external corner of the plinth? An edge using trim isn't really an option as it wouldn't look great at all so i thought i could mitre the corners but i keep getting little chips out of the porcelain when i try. If anybody could tell me how to overcome this or give an alternate option on how to finish the corner it would be greatly appreciated! Im using a so called 'diamond' blade in a small angle grinder to cut the tiles!
Thanks!
