HiDIYer here doing my first bathroom and tiling project.Firstly just want to say this site has been really helpful, so far and would like to say thanks to all posters.Got an external corner on boxing in for new shower pipework. Decided we want to use mitred/bevelled edges rather than trim. Using ceramic stone effect tiles. I have tried cutting them and ok so far except leaves small defects in glaze but assume this will be covered.Question is, do I put edges flush or leave a couple of mm gap? Plus do I silicon or grout the joint and will this cover the small defects? I will be using silicon for internal corners.Secondly, outside edge of bath protrudes from outside edge of boxing in by about 4mm taking into account adhesive and tile width. Should I line the outside with a 4mm bead of addy, allow to dry, then tile or can I just apply one bead of thick adhesive at once? I'm using bagged addy and substrate is aquapanel. Many thanksDave
