Had a sore eye since friday, got up this morning and it was hurting like hell. On a job this afternoon and pain just got too much, couldn't even touch my eye with the pain. Popped down to A&E and the doc gave it a wash for me, no joy still agony.
Refered me straight to a eye specialist.
They popped my eye from it's socket and cleaned around the rear. A tiny particle was found, and i mean minute. Was a small blck piece which i presume was the glazing from the tiles i was cutting on the Friday.
Moral of the story, wear your protective gear!
Believe me having your eye popped out really is not a nice experience.
Quite good how you look in 2 different directions though :)
