I love ALL stone:drool5:, so having to choose one is difficult, but for versatility and with my business head on, it has to be the travertine for it's ease of working and how it can be put anywhere with guaranteed good results:8:

I'am advised that it is Brazilian Granite.
And it was bought to represent the rolling hills behind the building - see thread on Hadrians Wall illuminations.
