surflaur where did you get your door trimmer, Trade tiler use to do one but not anymore Cheers

Took the risk and got it off ebay, first time I filled the customers house up with smoke and had to evacuate! Replaced the blade and it works like a dream. There is a Carlton one on there at the moment 110v. I tried to attach a link but i'm rubbish with pc's. Hope this helps:14:

Everyone goes on about these washboys, arnt they a little expensive for a bucket and spnge.

Do you use the washboy on every job you have or just large floor areas ?

Ive been building my toolkit up now for a few months and im nearly complete, just need a decont wet saw and washboy

Never under estimate the speed of a wash boy! Use it on walls and floors keeeping you sponges seperate for each. Ive got a Karl Dahn one but i can't seem to find the wheels, Trade Tiler is always sold out, anyone know where i can get some!

Woudn't do a floor job without my washboy, alot of people say a fein multimaster is expensive(£180 not cheap)but I did a small re-gout and it killed me,4 hours with a rake was mind knumbing and killed my arms.Got a Fein and did a similar job in 15 minutes and earn't the same money.
Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet tysfoot,do one job with a washboy and you'll wonder how you lived without one. They're worth every penny.

I have been using a Topps wash boy for some time (and while i think it is good and not wanting to slag off anybodys products as Topps is a great store), will i have much to gain on getting the Rubi or similar. I understabd you can not directly compare as the topps is a much cheaper alternative and great value for what it is. The reason I ask is that recently I have switched after a recommendation to BAL sponges which really are the Dogs ********. And find them better than my washboy on walls and small to medium size jobs. Anybody else use the BAL sponges?
