Fermacell

Anybody use Fermacell as an alternative to plasterboard/cement board? Tiled on it before through an architects spec and seems to tick all the boxes. For £20ish for an 8x4 sheet it seems like it'd definately be something to look into for stud walls.

Any opinions?

Not one I've used but it maybe the price for domestic work that turns people off....

Dunno, if anything the price is a positive. A lot of builders opt for 12mm ply over here and it's the same price as that. As for cement board, 0.7m of No More Ply is £10, and 2.8m of this is 20, plus it's 10mm thick.
