Films and box sets recommendations?

I really tried to like Narcos but gave up in the end.

I think sometimes nowadays we are spoilt for choice so don’t give things enough of a chance. Well I don’t anyway.

Maybe the subtitles put you off

No, I’m a fan of some of the Nordic crime dramas and the original Dragon tatttoo so enjoy a subtitled piece of viewing.

I’ll probably go back to Narcos and give it another whirl.

The IP Man movies 1,2 & 3 are good,
starring Donnie Yen.
Subtitled, but it doesn’t interfere, also depicts the very beginning for Bruce Lee, who was a student of
IP Man.

If you don’t mind subtitles give Wild Tales a go.

Its a film of short stories, very good.

best 2 subtitled films of mine are 'the lives of others' and 'city of god'. both excellent films.
'vinyl' is a great series but, criminally, only commissioned for one series

Another random film that I love is The Talented Mr Ripley. I think it’s a great film. Great cast, fantastic setting and great storyline.

Best bit of that film is seeing Jude Law losing a fight with an oar.
Can’t stand the guy.
