Finishing between rooms

I've got to tile onto floorboards so I'll be putting down 15 mm WBP board and screwing every 20cm etc. Once I've then added adhesive and floor tiles then the height difference between the tiled room and the carpeted floor in the hallway will be around 30mm. How do you finish this to make it look good as metallic door strips won't cover this difference will they?

hi old tricks tonite 1 make a timber bull nose 2 get a 15 mm aluminium angle to slip under sheet and use transition strip on edge of tiles hope this helps:20:

When you have thicker heights then schluters Reno V is a good finishing trim..

or you could board the floor with no more ply only 6mm.
then use a normal tile to carpet strip'

yep dave that strip is what we call a transition strip down here spot on
