First fit the toilet then tile or vice versa.

I fit bath first. Strap & brace it, put a Silicon seal around the bath (as a fail safe), tank walls (or what ever waterproofing method you wish to use), tile to the bath, grout, fill bath 3/4 full with water & re-seal.

Hi, same question but I have 30mm stone floor tiles to drill through if I put in toilet last. Was thinking of putting it in and then getting my tiler mate to cut round it. So two questions,
How much will he hate (is it that much of a big issue)
How can I drill screw holes safely through the stone floor tiles?

he will probably hate it and it gives a better finish being tiled first

Toilets look so much better fitted AFTER tiles are laid (IMO)

I personally think clear Silicon to bead around the pan is best aesthetically.
Using white or coloured looks the same as a pan that's been cut round.

Drilling holes in the stone is easy with porsa-drill bits. Ask 365 drills about them
