The last thing you need to be doing is using epoxy it's not very nice stuff to work with and totally unecessary for the job you want.

Besides, if you're going to work with epoxy, you need a disposable overall, gloves, and a facemask with epoxy specific filters. Nasty stuff which can make you really sick (brain damage, among other things) if you work alot with it without proper protection.

Anything that is mixed with water to make a product can be 'waterproof' only 'water resistant'.

bloke, lets start at the begining, get a good seal around your shower base with Silicon so when you finish with the tiling and the grouting and you put your finish Silicon bead on, even if you may have a small amount of water ingress it isnt going any further than your first seal.
you could tank it but not really neccessary, there are no regs to say you have to tank in shower rooms! fact! just ensure a good acrylic primer is used and depending on the size of your tiles and what they are made of.
if i was to tile it i would be using granfix multifix ready mixed adhesive or a cementuous rapid set flexable ahesive, grout wise try either granfix maxi but dont let it dry on the tile as it contains polymers to give it some flex but it is alot better than standard grouts.
