hi all just to let you know i am amazed at the 365 kit it does exactly what it is supposed to do.I had a problem at the start trying to stop the drill guide plate slipping all over the place, but that wat an error on my part.Great tip ere do not pre spray the area where you are going to drill as the water on the tile will not let the plate stay in one place .always wet after you get started so the grips on the plate and the tile are dry.
I drilled the hole slightly bigger and used a hss bit smaller into substrate behingd tile to anchor my shower rail.to be honest though i might over bore hole and use those fischer cavity plugs and set into wall substrate not tile to hold my shower rail firmer.

Hi first of all thanks for your post. Always pleased to note when we have happy customers and appreciate the time you took to leave your personal comments.

Its important for me and our distributors to read and understand customer feedback becaue at the moment we are marketing these kits to big retail.

Drilling holes is a wear and tear excercise so its critical our product meets the criteria of value for money, drill life and ease of use.

Reading your post gives us confidence that we are "on message". Our copy writers and marketing people are asking me for testimonials from installers, trusted retailers and stockists. I'll certainly be passing the forum comments to them.

The kit is actually two things.

1) The top half is for fixtures and fittings like mirrors, shower doors. A quad pack made up of 2x 6mm and 2x 8mm.

2) The bottom half is for standard service pipes. Includes radiator pipes, sink feeds, shower heads, body jets, waste for sink.

It has universal application in that most pipes fall into the size ranges.

I used it for the first time today on ceramic tiles.

I too was very impressed with it. I drilled my first hole with the 40mm cutter. It did rip out but I suspect that's the way I was using it.

Most of the holes I drilled were without the tile fixed to the wall, so I had to put the tile onto a sacraficial timber, then pour some water onto it.
