nice floor, i have done a couple and the corners are always difficult to work out. lots of time spent but worth it.

nice job there russ. i did a victorian floor a while back but it was designed to turn the corner on a full field tile. i mitred the thin borders but was corrected by timeless john that the victorians just butted them up

I'm not being critical though Russ.

The problem was getting the angles right for the cut though. Knowing the customer likes things very symetrical, I/we decided that it would be neater to try and reduce the cuts to a minimum and keep it "clean"! I think the prolem with the border corners arises from the different colours coming together, it it was only 2 colours it may have worked out differently.

Keep the comments coming though, critical or otherwise as I want to do more of these and will take on board all suggestions.

If I was to set foot on that hallway, I would not notice the corners, unless they were untidy, which they are not... I would notice how simply beautiful it all is, dead level, too ... and I don't think I'd be the only one ...

Thanks Gisela. It has been very well received by everyone that has seen it, some even been stopped in their tracks to look at it!! Gives you a nice feeling when you hear things like that.
