fitting a bathroom sink

Just a quick question . When fitting the bathroom sink.Do you fit the sink and then run the tiles up,or tile then fit the sink over the tiles .

What would you have to mark out the beams in the wall in order to fix the sink?

Are you asking in relation to this post or something your doing yourself mate?

Just need to make sure there is a noggin in the wall where the basin fixings will go.

If it's ped supported a stud fixing and some Silicon will be more then sufficient.

If it was wall hung i'd cut out some plasteboard and fit a noggin in the wall to screw into.
