I saw something like this done on a job in Nottingham about 18 months or so ago on a gypsum screed that the tiler had dot and dabbed. (for once the problem was not ettringite) No idea if it was successful or not but assume so as never heard any more about it. Not sure what sort of glue it was though. Think it was weber or webac or something like that. I assume some sort of LV epoxy
