Flexible conduit for Temp Sensor??

Could I suggest you pop along to the electricians forum and ask the same question!

I've had a look on loads of places.
Most other suppliers of UFH say "the temperature sensor wires can be shortened or lengthened, just don't cut the wires at the plastic end that contains the sensor" (DUH!)
Oh gosh, I dunno now....what shall I do?

Dammit...all I've got so far is run it down the wall with the cold-tails...
I'm trying to avoid that as the channel is pretty busy with other cables and too tight, and the bend at the bottom to get it into the floor is gonna be so tight it probably will kink and be useless!!!

I usually find there is enough room in the width of the wall to make sure there is too much of a bend in it. Also i always fit the sensor in the groove ive made and cover in addy the day b4. This makes it easier the next day that being fixed. And yes , conduit all the wy to box.

So....this is what I ended up doing.

Hosepipe section in set into floor, correct distance out from wall, terminating underneath bath. (end taped up!)
Sensor pushed in right to end, then back 2 inches so not under tape.
Rest of sensor wire set into floor and into wall, terminating nicely inside back-box for Thermostat.

Thinking behind it is:
All documents say its OK to extend sensor wire, couldn't find anything specific to this item that says it can be cut.
So, if it fails, it can be withdrawn from under floor inside bath panel, and replaced and joined to wire running to back-box.
Simple!

I ended up getting mixed replies from Electricians Forum, one fella said my plan sounded fine, other said put it in conduit all the way! (wasn't an option unforts!)

Thanks for all your help...
Pictures to follow when its all done. xx
