Here's a poser,
i often do bathrooms and nearly every time I lay underfloor heating, if I have wooden floors I always either 12 or 9mm ply over floorboards or if money is in job I completely remove floor boards and replace with 18mm wpb, then a plastic ply before the heating mat,, my question is to reduce the finish level of floor, can you just go over mat with a 10mm trowel rather than bed mat in adhesive then trowel over top, ultimately it saves 2/3mm but main thing is time and easier to level tiles.... Thoughts please, ps thoughts on spotting large tiles over wavy walls, rather than cost of skimming, ( to true level)

ps ps might have a rubi dw250 n for sale only used once for one bathroom, I'm going bigger, something my misses keep threatening

How much for this cutter then ?

If I have heard you correctly I personally like to use insulation backer board just so that the installation of tiling doesn't disrupt or damage the matting
