Floor tiles in porch area?

Hi all.

I have a 2m sq porch which has was laid last week. Just really want to know what adhesive to use and will i need to think of anythin else?

It is an enclosed area with a front door for storing shoes babies buggy.

All help really appreciated.

What do you mean by "laid last week"??
Is it concrete/screed?

Do you know how thick the screed is?

General all rule is 1mm per day drying/curing time.

you could use Bal green screed

It's 1mm per day for the 1st 40 days then your down to 1mm per 2 days after that.

I wouldn't use Bal Green Screed, it's a fortune, use a Weber adhesive & modify it with AD250 & you can go over a green screed.

No sorry i am not too sure. Was going to leave it 4 weeks would that be enough?

Do i just lay tiles on adehsive? Or do i have to put something on the concrete as i assume it may get damp? Also what about grout?

make sure fully dry then make sure you use the right adhesive depndent on which tiles you are using also ,ceramic,porcelain or stone ,ask at your local tile store ,or if a tiler is doing the job he should know which to use

I would be using Weber set+ Rapid adhesive modified with AD250 to go over a green screed.
Prime with PR360, leave to dry then tile.
I would grout with Weber joint pro, Job done.
4 weeks "should" give enough drying time.

Try your local CTD, I don't know how cheap you will get it though.
