floor tiles

Hi All
just lifted some carpet tiles off a concrete floor and loads of rubbery glue has been left behind on the floor. I want to lay porcelain tiles down on the floor.
1. do i need to remove all this old glue?
2. if so whats the easiest way?

Any help or advice appreciated

no pictures sorry but its just rubbery and stuck all over the floor biege in colour quite obviously glue???

Remove all glue yes. Try using a heat gun and a good scraper.
