Hi every one,
I am replacing my kitchen/diner and hallway floor tiles.i manage to take the floor tiles off which was lade on a 18mm marine ply 7 years ago.
I tried to scrape the old adhesive off ,but it is impossibe as it has stuck rock hard to the floor board.
I am told to use a 6mm hardy backer and , i need to know if the floor is bit uneven can i use tile adhesive to lay the tile backer
or shall i just use floor leveling compound to give me a flat smooth floor and not use the backer board. But not sure if the leveling compound is suitable on top of ply wood.
Also i am using quartz tiles, which adhesive is best and which cutting machine shell i hire.

many thanks ,and look forward for some answer.
