Floor Tiling

Hi

I need some advice on tiling bathroom floor, the walls have been done, when tiling the floor do I need to leave a grout gap between the
floor and wall tile? or do I cut the tile tight to the wall and then run a small bead of Silicon. What is the standard practice.

Also, I plan to grout the floor with the same colour as the wall, is this correct or should I go grey. The walls are grouted in a light cream colour.

Leave a 2-3mm gap and Silicon.
As for grout colour on floor then that's up to you, if a darker colour works well then I'd be tempted to go for that as floors
pick up more muck than walls. You could always seal the grout to make cleaning easy.
