Floor tiling

hey guys i am tiling a floor in the next couple of days after i have finished the walls, my question is regarding the best way to do the floor
I have seen people use cement boards and ply etc but wanted to know peoples opinions

The house i am doing the work in is a bungalow so it is a ground floor.... all floors in the house are cement and in the bathroom there is a water proof lining on the floor

as this is a bungalow and it is on cement flooring do i need any under boarding

from here what would people suggest on the best adhesives to use for floors

Waterproof lining? Do you mean a tanking coat thats been painted on or a lining from a roll?

its a roll, has been there since the house was built by the looks of it and looks to have done its job well where there was a leak in the old bath<br>its right through the bathroom and stuck down well

It's not lino
It's just a water proof sheeting

What adhesive do people suggest I use for this floor as underneath this is concrete so it's a hard solid floor

And the sheeting isn't coming up it is well and truly stuck down
It was underneath the old tiles so I just need to know what adhesive people recommend
