hello chappys
ive got a estimate to do on fri and the customer says she has samples of limestone tiles for b/room walls n floor plus onsuite walls n floor,
as ive never had owt to do with lime stone before is there anything i should look out for or need to know beforehand regarding advice for her (apart from checking on state of walls regrding weight etc)

plus a big kiss for dan cause this lead came from the trusted tradesman site :kiss: :kiss: :kiss:

hi tony...obvisouly check the walls are sound enough to accept the stone etc....
Some limestones are quiet soft and not suitable for floors so get customer to check with supplier they are suited to floors...i would use lithofin stainstop to seal with but plenty other makes on the market suitable as well...dont forget to back skim the tiles as this will prevent any adhesive ribs showing through...use a white spf adhesive....and recommend to customer to use limestone grout as well this will compliment the stone......dave...
