Hello all, i am very new to your excellent site but come with a good few years in the trade behind me. if i can help anyone with regards to movement joints, fire barriers, structural joints etc i will gladly give my advice. i don't have to talk to architects anymore so i can tell the truth.. i have also noticed some members bringing up the topic of cost to certain materials, i will be opening a small showroom in the next couple of weeks with a view to using my contracting contacts to offer a honest cost reflection on what certain products should cost. i can't see it pleasing some but now i find myself in a position where i don't have to care what people think. i will do my best to point you in the right direction. have a great day all. regards martyn.
