Hey Luis

I found you for a search relating to the mosaic flooring in the Teatro Colon. I am looking to contact one of the contractors on the project, a then 30 year old woman named Alejandra. She lives in Palermo and currently studies industrial design - petite, blonde, blue eyed.

I met her during a recent holiday in Buenos Aires and managed to leave a wrist watch of high sentimental value on her kitchen sink! Her contact details were subsequently stolen during a mugging in La Boca and I've not been able to trace her since.

You don't happen to know where or how I can contact her?

Really hoping you can help!

Thanks and best regards

Hey Andre,
Well... I need some more info: was she a contractor herself? Or a restoration specialist working for a contractor? There were a lot of people working in the Colón Theater, and the mosaic flooring restoration was divided into 4 different areas and companies. Do you know something more appart from that her name is Alejandra?
send me some more details I'll try to help.
I am curious: did you find me in this forum because you are a tiler? Did you google teatro Colón mosaic flooring and then this appeared?
Regards.
Luis

Hi Luis

Only found your reply now, sorry! Yeah, I googled Teattro Colon floor restoration or some such and this came up in the results. The only other information I have that may be relevant is that she is currently involved (and studying) industrial design - From what she told me she'd been involved in the mosaic/patterened component of the project, rather than the straight cobbling type work I saw while there. Do you perhaps know who the 4 respective companies were? I suspect a company called Riva SA were involved, though they appear to be massive.

This is real needle in a haystack material, but I'd be worth the effort tracking her down for me. Any details you could find would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks and best regards,

Andre
