yeah oli, i`m always up for getting something new if its better than what i`ve got and does a better job.

used karl dahm ones for a few years now excellent quality only problem is when bath taps are so close to the wall you cant get em behind the taps spose the answer is buy another set and cut them in half having said that i allways use washing up liquid in a squarty bottle gives a excellent finish imo

I also use lolly sticks and soap water. How would it work on a textured tile if you don't use any soap water???? I might get one of the kits also, but think I will still use the soap with it.

I use the fugenbouy kit from screwfix it create`s a perfect finish every time and i dont use washing up liquid with it.

same hear, i find thaty if you use water or washing liquid, if you do make a mess of the Silicon you cant put more in and need to clean it all out 1st, very annoying

Rhyd, If you end up with a low spot just add more Silicon and go over it with finger (smoothing tool) dipped in mineral turps. It melds the two together. It will work even if the Silicon bead has started to skin slightly - you just have to go over it a couple of times and use the turps sparingly. It takes a bit of practice but saves me a lot of hassle. Just don't try it up against epoxy paint....... dont ask me how I know:lol:
