the floors laid etc but client tray is a one off with a raised bottom, giving us a gap of around 12-13mm from our finished level.

do i use a

1) L trim,
2 ) quad bead
3 ) wide grout and then a sealant

concrete floor, everything in, just need to finish this and get out of this crazy job.

the shower tray is made that way, raised, couldnt believe it! help quick lads , typing this is van

Sounds like a job for some Upvc trim from your local window material supplier. We use similar on irregular surfaces when grout would be too wide or thick and same would apply to Silicon sealants. 'L' shape would be good as fold could be hidden under tray and siliconed in on bottom and at edge on tray. This would also give a bit of movement allowance when shower is being used

Sorry spelling mistake Give a bit not Five a bit!!!

try some folding multi trim its quite bendy and will easily go around a 550 radius, window fitters use it for awkward angles etc (bathroom fitters use it for awkward jobs) lol.....attach it with glazing tape and silicon around the edges looks mint:thumbsup: oh the tray your on about sounds like an easy plumb tray without the legs on it, the bottom of the tray is 12mm lower than the sides so as the upstands have something to rest against. oh!! ask the customer if they had curved platic strips supplied with the tray they will snap under neath the lip, will have to be cut down tho'.

hope that helps

tubsy.
