reasons for gaps when applying tiles? for movement im thinking any answers would be good please
sorry know it sounds stuipid but just one of those questions i never asked or never thought of asking when i was an apprentice and this may come up if and when i do my ewpa.
hi yes you are right mainly for movement expansion and contraction of tiles if you but hard together tiles will start by chipping edges then eventually push up of substrate the joints also give tiler some play with variations in size of tiles hope this helps:8:
