General tiling advice, decoupling membranes and products

Does anyone have an Epoxy primer they can recommend?

Tremco universal one coat, bostik laybond screed master epoxy or Merlin coatings barrier coat.

the advantage of bostik and tremco is that they have adhesives to go with it. The advantage of Merlin is that it is great quality and very cost effective.

Try Mapei they have Primer G a water based epoxy primer for anhydrite screeds as well as their de-coupling membrane Mapetex and all the adhesives you could possibly want. Thier tech dept will do a spec for you as well.
I would also add that it would still be best to ensure the floor is dry as there by putting the de-coupling matt down you are are 'sealing the floor' and any residual moisture.

Sealing in moisture , you sir need to read up before saying that. :lol:

Ok so the technical description is 'Synthetic resin based primer in water dispersion'
Still used to prime anhydrite screeds.
