genesis v sigma

Sigma 3c fails on polished porcs, genesis to the rescue lol! Set the breaker to the correct height, score 3 times all the way to the end but when snapping it keeps veering of about 20 mm from the end?? It's prob me but I'm not happy!

Is it the Sigma that has failed or the Genesis? I would use a wet cutter if they are hard tiles.

I kid thee not! Its fine splitting a 30mm leanth in to 2 15mm bits but try removing 30mm from full tile and it just wouldn't do it! It must be me I'm sure, not used to it yet but I have cut thicker porcs with it and its been ok?

Ha,Ha. get a TX and you will be in proper trouble. I would take the Genesis over any Rubi cutter.

Always been a rubi fan but just entered the world of sigma and I am loving it! never used a cleaner cutting, nicer feeling machine! But horses for courses I only have the mini sigma for Victorian work! I am now going to buy the big one see how it compares with the tx on 600 plus! As for the genesis,I bought the 800 in an emergency!
its brawn no brains, clumsy adjustment,poor alignment,lack of precision, gathering dust, never again!

If it's breaking off at the top of the tile when you break it then you're not scribing hard enough at the start.
