I see names floating about the who's online box, but never really take much notice, probably because they dont stand out because they dont post much .

Although I can appreciate how some people would be shy not to post incase they say the wrong thing for (unfounded) fear of looking a bit daft. Though Doug doesnt seem to mind :prrr::prrr:[/quote

Come on Doug........are you going to stand for that?

Not that I'm stirring you understand
He's right tho' CJ!!

tbh some people may find an answer in reading a few threads, some people post questions as if they have a right to an answer (ie we're customer sevice dept!) I, personally, got onto the forum simply by googling for a washboy, and hopefully picked up a few (albeit cyber!) friends along the way. You're only really gonna get out of the forums what you put in tho' imo:8:

One thing to bear in mind is that although they're showing as online they might of logged off a fair while back, depends on how the forum software is set up to update stats etc

If a member is viewing on-line....the forum updates about once every minute and will show they are on-line but might not be physically viewing....but still logged on. Otherwise they will time out and be logged off...

Only the on-line page refreshes...

Yes, because your still open in a tab and logged in so will be showing as online.

Nah mate, wasn't a fixer but a customer, agreed a price today and spotted him online, he's a have a go type, which is why he's ripping up about 6 - 8 m2 that he's laid before I start, was just curious as to what he was looking at and for, like he was checking up or something, paranoia is a wonderful thing :D
