On the flip side, does anyone give their customers a gift? (not talking about suppliers, site agents etc), if I've had a good run on the salmon, quite often I'll take appreciative customers a couple of salmon steaks round, helps in public relations I think

All sorts of stuff, like bottles of JD, Tshirts, bags of towels, even a set of car ramps.

Got a bag of gooseberrys on one of my first bathroom jobs - made the effort to drop a note in the post thanking the cm ..... it paid dividends - every year since I've had a phonecall from the cm saying shes left a bag of gooseberrys on her doorstep for me to pickup when i when I'm next passing by!!!
