GirlRacerRed is due to drop her bundle soon so thought we should offer advice on whats needed for her new bundle of joy

The best advice I can give myself is to ignore all of the advice given to me :lol: apparently this parenting lark comes naturally :yikes:

Our midwife said the other day "there are millions of experts that pop out of the woodwork in your family when you get pregnant but listen to very few of them". So I can see where Liz is coming from there. Everybody seems to be telling us if it's a big or small baby (a fairly equal mix too so that doesn't help haha) and what the best way to get them into a pattern is and yada yada yada.

Nice to know people care so much and are sharing the joy sort of thing but a couple are trying to take over the baby. Sister-in-law is a bugger for saying 'our baby' which is starting to pee me off a bit.

I'm lucky, I lived at home with my sister when she had her first daughter. So at the tender age of 17, I knew how to feed, burp, change and care for a baby. I even had a baby seat in my own car :yesnod: So I'm not going into this totally blind
