Glad to see the back of 2012?

Must say, this wasn't the best year ever.
I think the worst bit is the generally gloomy attitude. Some rare exceptions, but mostly pessimistic expectations from customers, suppliers & folks I talk with. Trouble is, hearing how tough it is so often gets you down and you can find yourself trading misery stories and feeling even worse.
So, I've resolved to be more upbeat for 2013. No use waiting for a miracle economic upturn, just keep working on things that might brighten the outlook - start trying to do little things to maybe brighten the future a bit.
OK - getting a website up & running so hopefully reach a few new customers over the next year. Also, it's something I've never done before, and really enjoying doing something new to me.
Any more positive ideas you think worth a shot?

Every year has been a growth for me. Expanding knowledge on new products, more recommendations, better tools for the right job, more ways to pay etc.

Not been the best year profit wise but always busy & booked.

2013 should be another good year to try new things & expand. Positive thinking.

2012 hasn't been too bad for me, in fact it's been pretty good. I'm going to say the same thing I say every year that I I'll try and break ino the local domestic market more but I know it probably won't happen as I'll be too busy running all over the country on commercial jobs!

I want to say soooooooo much, but won't, not a great year, New Year, could bring changes, we'll see, recent sad news brings it home, one day at a time, breath in and out, enjoy.

2012 Started off okay, went VERY slow in the middle and then bonkers last quarter.
Got Jan sorted for 2013 but after that, who knows?

iv been in this game 21 years (14 for myself) this has been the worst for domestics, i hope the new year brings some good jobs in for myself and all the tilers out there, all the best .
