Glass Mosaic border help

Sup fellas,

Okay to here is a new job. Glass. I am using the adhesive strips for the mosaics. Stick the mosaics to that then tile adhesive to the wall. Before anyone asks I am using flexi floor adhesive for these tiles...

Anyways, the mosaic has that plastic strip behind and is still sitting very deep into the tile. I add more adhesive but can't add too much because it squirts out. Sitting way too deep for my liking. Customer is happy with it as she picked the thickest tiles you can get lol.

easy to do leave the mosaic til last if mosaic is 50 mm say put in spacer to form gap. when tiles set above and below form a template width and depth of mosaic trowel in adhesive then skim off with template insert mosaic (if mosaic floppy use mosaic strenthener ) pad in should be flush job done
