Hi chaps!

I have been on holiday and this is the first job I come back to (well quote, i haven't got it yet)

The guy wants two bathrooms doing, an on-suite and the main bathroom. He wants the toilet and sink removing and tiling underneath and in the main bathroom some of the floot board is to be replaced.

He wants a towel rail radiator and a bath panel too. I would have to get someone in to do the plumbing as i don't really know to much about it.

Anyway, on to the question.....

The tiles are the 25mmx25mm glass mosaic and aren't very thick. I'm not totaaly sure they are suitable to put on a floor? or is it just a case of making sure I use the right adhesive with them and they'll be fine?

Thanks guys!

hi gaz..hope your hols were good...

The tiles will be ok for floor use...use bal mosaic fix for your project ......

tell the customer to arrange the plumber herself..if you know one..by all means recommend them. I say this because that way if anything goes wrong with the plumbing/plumber it has nothing to do with you as the contract is between your customer and the plumber. If you arrange the plumber...and anything goes wrong you're liable.

Thanks guys! I'll get it quoted!

Yeah the holiday was good thanks Dave! Just missed out on work now and need to get some money in quick. It's very quiet and the phone isn't ringing! Getting a bit worried!

Can I just check.... would I use 12mm ply on this the same as normal bigger tiles with normal adhesive?

What grout would be best? Superflex? Micro flex?

Not totally sure where to start with this one really!

yo gaz mate..just use 6mm backer boards...better adhesion and less height increase.......dave..

Yeah good idea! Just use normal rapidset flexi on the backer board to the floor and then mosaic fix on top of that!

I hope I get this bloody job it's been a nightmare to sort out prices and get a plumber there to look at the other bits.
