Gledhill indirect hot water cylinder making humming noise

My recently new Gledhill indirect hot water cylinder is making a humming noise when hot water only is on the noise seems to be coming from the return side of the coil there is a gate valve on the return for balancing does it just need adjusting or is it something else can anyone help me out thanks
