I've a mate who' been working in Oz for quite a few years now and reckons companies will only take on young apprentices, school leavers. He's got 20years behind him and found himself general labouring around sites. Plenty of apprentices wanted by the sounds of things. Probably best bet for you if your going with no experience. May be crap money but never know what it will turn up after a while.
