good quality knee pads.

anyone recommend a good quality knee pad. i am using the dewalt inserts; don't rate them one bit. i have read a little about redback ones but would be helpful for any review on the one your using.

Red backs seem to be the favourite insert type although I've never tried them myself. As I wear shorts a lot I use alpro ones from Tradetiler. If you do a quick search there is quite a long thread about who wears what.

Use the Alpro myself and they're great once they're broken in. Wouldn't mind trying the Redbacks for wall tiling where you're not on your knees as much.

I'm on the Redbacks kneepads for a couple of months now - excellent so far - well pleased. I was on the Snickers bean bag type, but they're expensive and wear holes after a while - it's like insulation foam balls pouring from your knees!

Anyway - Redbacks are great so far - I'd recommend them.

As above, there's a good thread on this around, and also as above, both of the Alpro products are great. My knee pads were really starting to play up, as i do lots of floors, and the pads really helped, my knee's are fine now

Boss is walking like Charlie Chaplin with piles, housemaids knee. He bought work trousers 1 size too big and every time he bends down the pads have been on his shins, now he's paying for it. And I bought him a set of redbacks that are still in the wrapping and not in a pair of trousers that actually fit. So he's laid up at home and I'm away tomorrow for 9 days in UK, and there's only us 2 in the firm.

blakladers in blacklader trousers,best kneepads and trousres,they wipe the floor with the snickers ones,never tried the alpro or red backs never where jeans to work since doing my knee in,and never got on with ones you puy on over jeans,always used to move and was forever adjusting them.

Alpro are worth investing in , I broke my knee years ago and since using these have never had pain or water in the knee etc . They take the weight off the knee and into the shin . I would have stopped tiling a while ago if it weren't for these .
