Got Tinnitus?

How many of you ended up with tinnitus due to noise cutting tile with electric cutter and still work...what do you do to manage it...just wear good hearing protection?

My mum has tinnitus and I know what pain and frustration it causes.
I always have a box of disposable ear plugs and scatter them throughout the van and tool cases:

Didn't say it was funny, it was a bit of banter, you wear ear defenders I hope. Or is that the point you don't. Think you should seek medical advice pal.
I don't have ringing just a faint him now and again if you must know. And that's my own fault for not being disciplined wearing my ear defenders.

Cant say publically how I got the ringing as difficult to prove, but just wondered if people carried on working as a tiler...

All you can do is plod on stevev unless the lottery numbers come up, anyway the only other thing I could do to satisfy my ocd would be to work in asda stacking shelves but that's a little sleeping with the enemy according to my wife.
