Govt to increase VAT on alterations to listed buildings

On 21 March, the Government announced in its 2012 Budget that it intends to remove the zero rate of VAT for approved alterations to listed buildings.

Yeah. And David CamerMoron blagged it saying he ate one, but then it was apparent that the shop he claimed to have bought one from last year closed down in 2009.

And in the 2012 Budget they announced they are abolishing the zero VAT rating for hairdresser's chairs! I demand national rioting, and the burning down of many buildings. It is your duty as British citizens to defend hairdresser's chairs.
